WizWars

This was a project created in unreal to learn particles and get used to the node based programming style. This was the first game I created using Unreal. The main mechanic was the casting of spells. Enemies were weak to one of the spell types. This was displayed whit a circle around the enemy. The extra mechanic I added was the combination of spells. There are 4 main spells and a combination of these could be made to create new types (fire + water = steam).

 

The game is about a wizard that is stuck on an island without his powers. He needs to get to mana points to regain some of his powers. The natives will try to stop from returning home. The portal home is locked with 3 locks, find the keys to open them and get home.
