Brimstone

Brimstone is a game made in unity and is designed to run on WebGL. This required the programmers to learn about memory management and optimization. This is one of the projects I learned the most out due to the limitations of the project. During this project, I worked on most of the character powers, ai development, spawning, cutscenes, menu screen and optimization of the game. This was the first unity game I worked on.

 

Brimstone is a top-down action game that is inspired by Diablo. The game supports controllers and up to 2 players. There are 2 characters, an archer and a warrior. If you decide to play alone, a switch button is added to switch between the characters. While there are 2 players both can pick one of the 2 options.

 

This game was a group effort designed by 5 people. The 2 artists where: Matthias Degroote and Bert Suffys. The 3 programmers where: Dieter TackTom Ryckeboer and myself.
